Exercise and its Role in Weight Loss It's true that a lot of people have lost weight without exercising. Walk right when you get home, before things get hectic. Take that bicycle out of hiding and ride it around the block a few times. Wake up earlier and do whatever exercising you can before you start your day. That extra bit of sleep won't make that much difference but that extra bit of exercise sure will help achieve your weight loss goal.

Successful weight loss takes work. And it takes work to be successful, regardless of the goal. Congrats to you if you already exercise. Now push yourself a bit to really reap maximum benefits. Jog a few minutes longer. Cycle a little bit faster. Go for one more lap in the pool. Add more weight. But never forget to give your body plenty of water while you do exercise.

Being classified as a couch potato is no longer a desirable goal so get moving! And understand one important thing about exercising. While the scale might not be revealing an actual weight loss, your pants just might be sighing with relief. It takes a lot of work to keep the seams from bursting!
