The paper entitled Gene Therapy has reported that "In a series of experiments, the scientists showed that the production of human growth hormone (hGH) and its secretion into the saliva of rats could be regulated with rapamycin for at least three times in 16 days," as reported by the National Institutes of Health. If a rat was not given rapamycin then no HGH was found in its saliva. There has even been a virus discovered that contains the hGH gene.
When rapamycin is utilized, the hGH gene can be started. If the rapamycin is not used then the hGH gene does not activate.
